Tax Consult is a company providing tax, accounting and advisory services to international groups as well as to Belgian based small and medium companies. Our history began in 1981 when we opened the first office in Brussels. In addition to the Brussels office, we also have an office in Antwerp.
Tax Consult is looking for an IT intern with a strong desire to develop themselves in an IT-minded accounting firm.
Job description
The impact you’ll have
- Cybersecurity: monitor and resolve vulnerability backlog, manage proactively identified vulnerabilities, analyze risk, prioritize fixes and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure prompt and effective resolution.
- Microsoft environment: evaluate and update of security best practices, such as password policies, data encryption, and recommended security configurations.
- Implementation of two-factor authentication (2FA): support the deployment of two-factor authentication solutions to enhance user access security, including configuration, user training, and technical support.
- Standardized security baseline for servers: support in the development and implementation of a security baseline for servers, ensuring secure configurations compliant with industry standards.
- Active participation in the DORA/NIS2 project: contribute significantly to compliance initiatives with DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) and NIS2 (Network and Information Security Directive), including impact assessments, implementation of required security measures, and process documentation.
- Active participation in infrastructure projects, such as :
- Entra: collaboration on the Entra project aimed at improving network infrastructure and security.
- IAM: participation in identity and access management (IAM) initiatives, including the implementation of identity management solutions, automation of access processes, and continuous access monitoring.
Your profile
The value you will bring
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in any IT-related field. Certification trainings are also considered an asset (e.g., BeCode, Technifutur, …).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Being a native French speaker with a good knowledge of English. Dutch is considered as an asset.
- Attention to details to make sure the quality of the work delivered is accurate.
- Problem-solving skills to anticipate issues and proactively come up with solutions.
- Team spirit, as to work in direct collaboration with our IT Manager and with all our colleagues to deliver on common objectives.
